Bollocks. I assume that you are referring to Oliver Sacks' Seeing Voices? I recall you telling me about this before, and I read his book. While I do not begrudge deaf people their culture (and while I am thoroughly aware that such is what it is), I think that anybody who deprives their children of corrective surgery for no better reason than that this surgery is eradicating a centuries-old "culture of the deaf" is a bad parent.

You make cochlear implants?
They are client, but we don't make implants for them (we have made test systems for them, though).
I was speaking more generally about working in the medical device industry.
